It was confirmed on Thursday that Switzerland has also been hit by swine flu. A young man who returned from Mexico was infected by the virus.
It was reported that one passenger who flew with US Airways flight 804 from Cancun to Philadelphia and US Airways flight 810 from Philadelphia to Zurich has been infected with H1N1 which is an influenza A virus. All passengers of those flights were advised to contact a doctor to avoid the risk of infection.
Among the 15 total cases that were brought to the Swiss health authorities, only one tested positive. But it was also reported that the traveller who had a case of mild flu is now recovering. [swissinfo.ch]
