Taxation and Banking Secrecy in Switzerland

Switzerland is now undergoing negotiations and discussions regarding the new accords on double-taxation to comply with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) conditions.

However, there will be no changes regarding banking secrecy. The law will not be changed. There will be no snooping in Swiss accounts. But banking secrecy will not protect those who are committing tax fraud. [swissinfo.ch]
