Dozens of children of the Germans who plotted to assassinate Adolf Hitler in 1944 returned this weekend to Switzerland. Taxation and Banking Secrecy in Switzerland

Switzerland is now undergoing negotiations and discussions regarding the new accords on double-taxation to comply with Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) conditions.

Belarus denied Chernobyl children Switzerland visit

There are a lot of Belarussian children who are suffering from radiation because of the Chernobyl power plant disaster in 1996. Hundreds of these Belarussian children who are Chernobyl victims were denied to visit Switzerland by the Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko who cancelled the trip after fearing that some of these children would not want to go back home to Belarus. Swine flu has also hit Switzerland

It was confirmed on Thursday that Switzerland has also been hit by swine flu. A young man who returned from Mexico was infected by the virus.

It was reported that one passenger who flew from Cancun to Philadelphia and from Philadelphia to Zurich has been infected with H1N1 which is an influenza A virus. All passengers were advised to contact a doctor to avoid the risk of infection.

Among the 15 total cases that were brought to the Swiss health authorities, only one tested positive. But it was also reported that the traveller who had a case of mild flu is now recovering. [swissinfo.ch]
